Student Legal Services is a non-profit law firm sponsored by Undergraduate Student Government.  With offices located on campus, Student Legal Services’ attorneys provide Kent State University students with legal representation and advice on a wide variety of legal issues.

USG Committees


USG Street Team Print E-mail

The Undergraduate Student Government Street Team promotes all USG Sponsored Events on site, disperses hotcards, puts up flyers and posters, creates banners, and gets the word out to the entire KSU student body through all communication links such as e-mail, facebook, twitter, etc.

Also USG Street Team Members will sit on one of 30 committees and/or boards through the University.  It is a very good way for Undergraduates to participate and become aware of other student organizations that they would like to get involved with on campus.

Programming Committee Print E-mail
The USG Programming Committee will sponsor and integrate social, educational, recreational, and multicultural activities for undergraduate students at Kent State University, Kent Campus. The committee will consistently evaluate these programs and assess the wants and needs of the university community in order to provide a more enjoyable and purposeful life for all members of the Kent State University community.
 
Allocation Committee Print E-mail
This committee will be chaired by the Director for Business and Finance, The committee will be comprised of eight at-large members, one executive board member from Black United Students to be selected by their respective executive board, and one undergraduate student to be appointed by the USG, who will also serve as vice-chair and parliament. Preference for the vice-chair will be given to a former allocations committee member. Advisor to the Allocation Committee will be a Center for Student Involvement administrative staff representative and the Center for Student Involvement Business Manager,
